Color for Company logo

Hi,

I'm setting up new biz and would like to know what color is suitable for my company logo. I'm in electrical trading & installation works. Understand yellow, grey and blue are suitable colors. Pls comment on this.

Electrical Trading often deals with wires (Metal), while installation works is more Wood as it involves creating electrical setup/frame work for the house. So I have to classify your business as more Metal/Wood elements.

Typically, when we want to create more suitable colours we go :-

1. Adding elements that will make the elements stronger. ie. for Metal to grow, you add Earth (yellow). For Wood to grow, you add Water (blue/black/gray). So the colours you proposed are ok.

2. The other way is to symolically create wealth. ieWealth for Metal is Wood (green), whileWealth forWood is Earth (yellow).

So you go for either of these as your base colour. Then if you own the business yourself, then choose colours that will also benefit you so as to ensure you benefit from your business. ie if you are a weak wood, then water/wood colours will be more suitable for you as your company corporate colours.

Another way, is to a harmonious element flow, iemetal (white/gold) -

So just use either of the above guide to creating more wealth for your business.
