Hello everyone, I have a question I would like to know the difference between a fountain that has 6 rungs..(tiers on the fountain) and one that has 7. In the world of Feng Shui everything has a meaning. I would appreciate all of the help that you could give me. Many Blessings, Very HappyVery Happy Mary

What the entire fountain really symbolise depends on how it was designed to look. I can only say from the 6 rungs and 7 rungs is that the numner 6 (Strong Metal) and 7(weak Metal). Metal + Water is a good combination of element.

Especially if thefountainis made ofearth (stone like), may result in overall 3 element harmony. ie Earth material, 6/7 Rung (Metal), Water (water) = Earth-

Metal-
Water which is auspicious combination. Then when you add in light (fire) or some plants (wood), you have a fountain that contains all five element which is the most ideal form containing all the elements to strengthen the fountain effect.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
