Hello,
I have two questions regarding compass directions:
What if the main door is not located either North or NorthEast, but exactly North by Northeast, right down the middle of the two directions?
Also, what is the solution if various pa kua sectors of a dwelling include more than one room -- i.e., if a wall separating the livingroom and bedroom is running through the middle of a pa kua sector?
If a sector is split by such a wall, does one consider the wall as the dividing line of the sectors -- instead of using the actual compass direction?
Thank you.

Frankly, such a house that falls in the exact degree between two directions are often not auspicious because, it is like neither here or neither there.

One way that most masters will suggest is to embbed a metal ruler/frame around or at the bottom/top of the floor in such a way that when you use a read a compass standing at the door area, it will shift and point towards the more favourable direction.

I mean where you divide the room. Often there will be one sector that covers more of the important features in the room. Say the bedroom. If when you divide the room, the bed falls in the sector or is covered more by one sector, that will be the sector that we consider having the more influence over. The sector covering say the toilet or the wardrobe will not be the sector that will hold most influence in the room.

When we divide the layout for assessment. We try to find the sector that covers most part of that room. Then apply the solutions or cures accordingly. It is not necessary that the dividing sector will fall exactly on the wall. So some part of that room may contain other influence. For example if the room falls under North-East/East. If a greater part of the room falls under North-East, we focus on the North-East as the major influence in that sector.

Only when you try to activate the sector's moutain or water star, then you try to position the cures/solution as close to that direction such as if the water star is North sector. Then the water feature is best located close to where True North (0 degree sector). Otherwise, for room colours, you choose the sector that is covers most part of the room.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
