Graveyard in the neighbourhood

Dear Cecil,
I have decided to buy a house which I think has all the right Feng Shui criteria. But I just found out from the developer that there is a small empty land 700 metres away which may be used as a Muslim graveyard. All my family members are Buddhists. The house faces North and that piece of land is on the far South west side. Around that land is a school and a mosque. Along the way from my house to that piece of land are houses and roads. How bad is the Feng Shui? I really like the house so this piece of news is disappointing. I really need to know if this house is worth buying. Please advise.
Thanks.
Regards,
Lian

Dear Anon,
Sounds like the location you referred to is `Siglap'.
Usually, with modernisation, most of these locations are acceptable.
1. Usually, for a home located on a gravesite, so long as all the graves are dugged up, this is acceptable.
Many homes in Singapore have been built on `reclaimed land' for burial.
2. The Yin Qi will usually `wear' off as it is inhibited by people Yang energy.
What is more important at this point is to make sure that the house conforms to the Shapes and form School.
For example, try to make sure that the house do not have missing corners.
It is situated such that the water position if any is not at the back of the home.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
