Taking over my house during 7th month

Dear Master,

This may sound like a no-brainer to you.

Due to seller's inability to handover the house earlier, I may have to takeover the house during the 7th Month in August.

I am not extremely supertitious but most people have advised me to avoid such activities duringthe Ghost month.

I like to have your advice should i have to takeover the house as the seller has indicated to move out during the 7th month.

Yes, it is indeed not really auspicious to take over a house during the chinese 7th month. So if you can avoid it it would be better (ie collect the key after 11 Sep).

However, if you really cannot wait until after the 7th month (ie 13 Aug-10 Sep), then at leasttry to choose an auspicious date to minimise any impact:-

In any case, you should avoid moving-in or starting your renovations works during the 7th month.
