Hi, my family and I will be moving into a new place soon and is planning to place an aquarium tank as a partition between the main door and the living area. The main door is facing eastwards. Pls advise whether this is fine. Thank you.

In general, if you are placing a fish tank for activating auspicious luck, then you need to check whether the sector of the house based on the flying star chart contains the current auspicious water star. For example, if it is a period 8 house, and the sector whereyou place is East, check if the water star 8or water star 9 is present. If so, then it is considered an auspicious sector to have a fish tank. Please use the free flying star chart in our member area to check on this:-

Also, you should check if the breadwinner favours water element. If a weak fire or Strong Water person, then water may not favour them. Therefore, it may not be a good idea to have water features in the house. Again, you can make use of the free ba zi report to determine the breadwinner's ba zi element and favourable elements:-

Otherwise, fish tank is usually best placed in living room/study room. But should never be placed in the bedroom. So we do not consider any of the personalised analysis, then it sounds ok to place where you. But better to check the above mentioned reports to confirm if it is indeed beneficial.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
