Hi, I've always thought fire destroys metal. Why would it bea binding element? Could you explain what the report below means in terms of compatibility? How would I reduce conflicts? And are the clashes significant? Any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Yes, you are correct that fire destroy metal.

Every element has two state. ie a weak and strong. If a weak Metal, fire will make weak metal weaker. However, as a Strong Metal, it means that you have too much Earth and Metal which is why you are strong.

So Fire is one of the element to exhaust the excess metal so that you become more balanced. Water is also another way to exhaust the excess Strong Metal.

Given, it is compatibility between two persons, to the element must be common to both person. Water may be good for Strong Metal, but it will weaken weak Fire person. Thus, Fire is the recommended binding element to help smoothen relation in this case.

In general, if you based only on the five element compatibility. Weak Fire and Strong Metal is a particularly good for the Strong Metal person. To make the relationship even more harmonious, additional Fire will help. Wood is also another possible element good for both person.

There is a clash between the two chart, but it is considered minor clash. So that just means that there may still be some occassional conflicts between the two. However, as long as you adopt a give an take approach, you should be able to minimise any major conflicts.

The other compatibility to check is the horoscope sign. If there is no further incompatibility between the horoscope, the comparison is deemed to be pretty compatible with minor conflicts.
