Hi Master Cecil I have a one big rectangular mirror placed in my dining room. Under feng shui is it gd to place it?

Generally, mirrors under feng shui can bounce double the good or bad luck depending on where it is placed. The more appropriate is to avoid:-

1. Placing mirror where it bounces the Qi out of the houses. For example if you open a door and immediately see a mirror, any good qi that is trying to enter into the house, may be bounced right out of the house.

2. Mirror must either be a single piece or 3 pieces. Never double, as when you view it is like you are being divided. Which can signify divorce.

3. Mirrors in bathrooms is or in your wardrobe are ok.

The rest whether it is good or bad depends on where it is placed or how it is used.

as i heard mirror trapped spirit,is it true?

Scientifically, this isn't possible even though there are movies on this. The thing about mirror is that there is this situation where people do not like wake up and see the mirrror, as they say that when you sleep, your spirit wakes and see itself in the mirror and get a shock. But on the other hand, some people want to see the mirror to comb yourself so that you look need before your spirit live. So this is more of a tolerance level.

Also, under feng shui mirror can reflect or bounce Qi. So if place in a good qi it can double the good Qi, but if placed in a bad Qi can also bounce double the bad luck.

As my main door is facing the water pipe, should i place a bagua ? thxs & rdgs Ling

Generally, you only need to palce bagua if there is really a very bad sha qi from across your home that you cannot fix. But I think it is too extreme to use a bagua for water pipe as it does not really causes much sha qi etc. If it is within your home area, then if you can find ways to conceal it, that would be better solution than using a bagua.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
