myfs_117135
HelloI'm confused as to which time I'm supposed to put to calculate my ba zi chart. Are you supposed to always use Beijing, China time or do you put the time for where you born? I was born in New York, USA after 2am on March 17, 1981. Do I use that time and date, or do I have to convert it to china time and date?

However, in reality how many people actually record the exact long. and lat. of birth? I mean even if you know you are born roughly in a hospital, the hospital also have different long. and lat. depending on which part of the building you are on.2. GMT difference is a very bad or inaccurate way to apply location factor, as it does not really factor in the true location. Furthermore, GMT has been simplified so much that it now groups certain country into a single timezone. So again, it does not show the true location factor.3. If you know how ba zi works, the hour pillar isn't really the most important pillar, as such even if you do not have the hour, the ba zi can still forecast a fairly accurate prediction. That is because the luck forecast depends more on the month pillar than the hour.4. Ultimately, how a ba zi deduce what you lack is by working out what are the breakdown of elements affecting you. Ultimately, if you calculate them properly, you will be able to properly balance out what you lack. Thus our stand is simply just to use your local time of birth for any ba zi or feng shui reports on our website. We do not really apply any further time changes. It is more important to work out what you lack and try to balance them up.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
