myfs_120767
Hi, I read that to get rid of bad luck, we can take a salt bath from head to toe. Is that true? Also, is there any feng shui accessories I can purchase to help my husband's career? He's lost his job twice even with a college degree. Should I add a water feature to help our money situation and his career? If yes, where should I place it?
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 29, 2008 Staff Share Posted January 29, 2008 Dear Anon,Yes, in a global world, there are many practises in relating to "getting" rid of bad luck.Salt is used more widely in the west than the east or Far East. Although we use it to throw into used toilet when we get a re-sale home.So you are not wrong in coming down with using that practise of using salt. Here, in the Far East, our common way of "getting rid" of bad luck is also to get a bathe, first. And afterwards, (we already had prepared say a plastic basin/tub filled with local flowers and a few cut-up lime). So immediately after we had bathed (cleansed) ourselves, we would "flower bathe) by pouring this flower-lime-water onto our heads and let it flow down our entire body. After 2 hours or more, then go in and clear and throw away the flowers. (Some just immediately throw the flowers-lime away - still ok).Anonymous wrote:Hi, I read that to get rid of bad luck, we can take a salt bath from head to toe. Is that true? Frankly, present day "Feng Shui accessories" are highly commercialised products. Instead, best to conserve the money and save it for a rainy day.Especially since many of these products have no relation to the home qi or chi. And with such high mark-ups and huge profits to be made, these products does not come with any guarantee! In fact, some owe so much much via roll over credit (credit card) that they go further into debt! Also, is there any feng shui accessories I can purchase to help my husband's career? It is best not to "any-how" place any water feature etc... as water at the wrong location can affect: health, wealth and even marriage.
