myfs_124714
Hi, we live in a bungalow and we are planning to move the bathroom and the kitchen on the side of the house. Would you be able to tell us what are the basic rules to consider inchoosing the best location for the kitchen and bathroom. Thank you very much. Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 27, 2008 Staff Share Posted March 27, 2008 Dear Anon,If you just do a search, you can find my article on guidelines for the kitchen:-You can go to: Tips For The KitchenPosted in: Info :: Feng Shui Tips & GuidelinesPosted on: Sun, 01 Aug 2004, 06:06 AMAnd read the above article. In fact, toilet guidelines does exist. In general, where possible, try to have at least one wall of the toilet sharing an external wall. If the house has more than one storey, try not to have the toilet bowl (on the second storey) just above the main entrance door.In addition, for other toilets on the secondstorey, try to super-impose the location of the toilet onto say the 1st storey layout plan. Try not to have the toilet above the dining table, stove and other areas where we often sit down e.g. the living room sofa seat etc...Warmest Regards,Cecil
