In the pillars chart, there are references in parentheses to "Mother", "Self", "Child", and "Wife,Father". Are these to be understood as references to actual familial relationships and the people who fill those roles? In other words, where it says "yang Earth child", am I to read that as a reference to my Strong Earth child?? (I actually have one...) If so, this seems astonishingly predictive. Also, in some parentheses, there is only a - (dash). What is the significance of that? (if any)Is this different than the places where it says "Nil"? Thanks, Jenney

Yes they are actual reference to the actual family relationship. When the element is related to say the Mother, and the element is unfavourable to you, which means some kind of disagreement is likely to occur. This is especially so when it occurs throughout your luck periods.
Later on, I will be adding detailed analysis to each member of your family.

Basically, the - or Nil means the same thing, there is no particular relationship element that is related to that element. Normally, that would mean that it is your own personal element.

Hope that helps to clear your query.
Warmest Regards
Robert Lee
