myfs_133843
I heard different oppinions how to apply Bagua to a garden:1. First opinion is that I apply the Bagua to the house and then extend the areas to the garden.2. Second opinion is that garden has its own Bagua.I live in a Dutch terrace house. Thus my parcel is a long rectangle. On one side of this rectange, there is a house and the rest is garden:+-----------+----------------------+|/////////////|.......................||//House//|......Garden.......||/////////////|.......................|+-----------+----------------------+Which application of Bagua to the garden do you find more appropriate? Thanks in advanceMiki
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 8, 2008 Staff Share Posted June 8, 2008 Dear Miki,1. The fixed template model that you are using is a modern invention. The rationale why there are tensof dozens of such practitioner is that any "Tom, Dick or Harry" can choose to become an "expert" in the field of "Feng Shui" just by telling peopleto super-imposesuch a template. 2. The rationale why such a template type of "Feng Shui" is popular as it is "fixed" and anyone who has some "creativity" can simply write a book e.g. Chapter 1 - Introduction to the Ba GuaChaper 2 - North - Career sector .....And pass this book as a work of "Feng Shui" ....... 3. Traditional Feng Shui websites (inclusive of Geomancy.net) does not use such a "scheme". And thus will not comment more on such "hocus-pocus" modern invention... 4. This model you are currently using was invented by " Lin Yun".Check out this article, at Kate Bramble's website: http://qi-whiz.com/node/35 - The Confession of Lin Yun.The joke is on him!Anonymous wrote:I heard different oppinions how to apply Bagua to a garden:1. Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 11, 2008 Staff Share Posted June 11, 2008 Let me share with everyone ...1. My original forum was a third party forum started around 1996. We (Geomancy.net) started our very own forum two years later. This is where we have maintained every single message since then.2. During that time, there were few Traditional Feng Shui websites and many "Fung Shoey" websites catering to the Fixed Template Fung Shoey appeared nearly every day!3. For example, if one checks back quite alot of forum messages, it has to do with discussion on Traditional Feng Shui vs Black Hat Sect (Lin Yun) and Fixed Template Feng Shui.4. In the past, there were few resources dedicated to Traditional Feng Shui. And many western Feng Shui sites, tempted people to use the so easy to apply " Fixed template Fung Shoey".5. In the past, I mentioned any Tom, Dick or Harry with some imagination and a flair for writing or web design can easily create a site or book on this topic.6. Thank GOD! Nowadays, lesser and lesser people are taken in by such "fixed template" Fung Shoey! It is GOOD NEWS! Morale of the story 1: " Scrap fixed template Fung Shoey"Morale of the story 2: "Never too late to pick up authentic Feng Shui"
