myfs_133981
Hi Master Lee, im going to buy aflat soon but i have some doubts here whether to buy or not. I heard frm others n readfrm books that the main door cannot face the kitchen door and toliet cannot be in center of the house. Is it true or not? Unfortunalty that this house im going to get have this two problem. If i get this house, will there have any cures for this two problem aftera fengshui audit? Or would you advise not to buy? Im lucky to get to chose this house by balloting system, so i hope not to miss this unit.Appreciate your advice Thank you
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 16, 2008 Staff Share Posted June 16, 2008 1. Ideally, the toilet (if possible) should try not to be at the "center" of the home. Especially if it is the toilet bowl. However, the good news, is that frankly in Singapore, nearly 50 percent of all apartments does have the toilet "close to or in the centre" of the home. This is considered as a "leak". Majority of the time, a regular Feng Shui audit, can help to boost other areas and/or reduce the effect.2. Main door to many Feng Shui practitioners is like the "mouth" of the home. Thus it is considered a crucial part. Imagine, a person opening his mouth and a "knife" or "fork" or "scissors" poking into it. There are two concepts, here:-2.1 Commonsense approachIf we open the main door and "greeted" by an "unsightly" kitchen especially if we can see the stove or knifes /forks hanging out to dry...2.2 As mentioned under para 2, symbolically, if we open the main door and see a stove (lighted up) - here, it is like "getting" burned.3. Again, I have seen many, many condo units that although the kitchen door is not facing the main door, but it is just on the side a few feet away from the main door. Same thing, from the main door or standing just inside the main door, it is adviseable not to hang any knives / scissors etc... (The commonsense is that if we do leave our door ajar, and if someone really rushes into the home, grab a knife... then... we may be in a "serious" trouble). 4. Are there any cures?4.1 It depends! Under para 3, we may not be able to everyday, close the "kitchen" door either thru habit or "forced to do so".4.2 It also depends on how suitable the apartment is to especially the male breadwinner:-4.2.1 The most common approach is to use the Eight mansions (Eight House) or Ba Chia Feng Shui to see how suitable the house is...4.2.2 Some Feng Shui practitioners discard 4.2.1 and use ba zi to check whether it fit's the person's ba zi element. For example, if one is a weak water person.. then a "south" facing may not be as suitable.5. Majority of Feng Shui practitioners use either 4.2.1 or 4.2.2 but often not both to assess. 4.2.2. is considered a more "refined" concept - greater personalisation. 6. If Eight Mansions is used, then try to check what influence is in areas like the master bedroom, living room etc.. It is good that say if the person is a East group, and so happens the master bedroom is in the East compass direction. Here, the eight house qi is considered good for the person...7. Flying star Feng Shui:-In many cases, it is a pity that although a certain sector has the double auspicious #8 but it may unfortunately fall in areas like the toilet, or kitchen area. Thus, in order to properly evaluate a home, all the above from para 1 to 7 should be looked at...Quote:Anonymous wrote:Hi Master Lee, im going to buy aflat soon but i have some doubts here whether to buy or not.
