Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 18, 2008 Staff Share Posted July 18, 2008 1. Based on your current layout plan, the two beds are not in a "coffin position" especially if one's leg's does not face a door or at bed level faces any opening (glass opening).2. So long as if one's legs face the bedroom door or as mentioned above, facing at body level, a window this is indeed a coffin position.3. The rest of your questions are simple to pen down, that includes the flying star chart. Simple to post but needs thorough analysis.Try not to post more and more of them else it will be whiskered away to "Samples that will not be replied". Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 19, 2008 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2008 Usually a window either has a half-height window. If so, and if one's bed is not higher than the window openings, there is no issue, here. Thus if your situation; is as above, considered as a Non-issue.Nowadays, some homes especially condos, take the easier route or want to use more glass than concrete, may install full height windows. There are many ways of over-coming this. The easiest is to install opaque film(s) at the lower height windows. Alternatively, some have a length or row of a low height curtain rails so that a low height curtain(s) can be hung over it.On a commonsense approach, for those living in an apartment with such full height windows, on occassions, when one walks around the bedroom and wear minimal clothings or see thru dress, then someone peering inwards may get to see our "private " parts. myfs_134307
Cecil,Is it okay then for example, if our bed is facing a huge window - but this window has ?venetian blinds and we keep it shut every time we sleep? Do you still consider our bed in a coffin position? However, during we day, we like to keep the window open because we like to see the view outside and it's nice to see sunlight stream in.Cecil L. wrote:1. myfs_134391
Dear Cecil. Thank you for answering part of my question, however, I didn't say that my beds were in the coffin position, I stated "If the beds are moved to the other side, then they are in front of the door. If they are put against the window, then they are in burial position, feet facing door." Right now the beds are as in the document I attached. My window is not a half window, but6' wide and centered on the wall. The beds would be higher than the bottom of the window by about a foot if placed in front of the window.I am looking forward to the analysis of how to remedy the situation morefully. Thank you for your time.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 20, 2008 Staff Share Posted July 20, 2008 1. There is no issue with the bed is in front of the door.2. You said: If they are put against the window, then they are in burial position, feet facing door." If you are trying to avoid the burial position" then simply don't DO this option (full stop). Not everything has an "effective" remedy. Again: don't do it!Quote:"If the beds are moved to the other side, then they are in front of the door.
