myfs_134675
Dear Mr. Lee, I do appreciate your free advise as well as a lot of us not too familiar with feng shui. I would like to ask which is more important when looking at the lot. Where the lot is facing-direction or sitting direction? I have a Kua Number of 8 and the lot is facin g SE and sitting NW. According to the chart, NW is good but SE is not. Please enlighten me. Thank a lot and more power! Hope to hear from you soon!Willy
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 7, 2008 Staff Share Posted August 7, 2008 1. Frankly, both facing and sitting are equally important. 2. The purpose of sitting and answering questions in an examination is to try and maximize our marks: http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks3. In real world Feng Shui, isn't it better if both sitting and facing directions are equally important.4. For example, even if we have an excellent facing direction, but behind the home is a fast "moving water" canal, this is already "bad" Feng Shui on it's own.5. To begin with, NW sitting or SE facing or vice versa plot of land is really not that fanastic under Period 7 or 8 Flying Star Feng Shui. All these will add up to subtract the Feng Shui luck. Or leading to too many "leaks".Anonymous wrote:I do appreciate your free advise as well as a lot of us not too familiar with feng shui. Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 12, 2008 Staff Share Posted August 12, 2008 1. This has been mentioned many (many) times under previous postings:-1.1. Under Period 8 [P8], (in general) without considering Shapes and Forms and other external factors:-1.2 P8 NE and SW generally have favourable wealth qi. Only need to balance the sickness stars for these two configurations.1.3 Under P8, South and East also do enjoy favourable wealth qi. For the East, just because of where the afternoon sun affects which part of the home.
