Main door face partial stairs outside

Hi,

I staying in HDB flat such that the main doorfaces partial stairsway outside.

Heard main door facing stairsway is not good.

How to cure this? Kindly help.

1. If the view from the main door is that of the staircase "flowing" downwards, this is inauspicious. As it is symbolic of wealth flowing our and downwards. But if the view is of an "upwards" staircase, this is still acceptable.

2. The most transparent "cure" is the use of grille gates "that have some reflective surface". For example, some people use stainless steel grille gates that have a reflective surface. Or plastic perspex sheet at the lower part of the grill gate (to block cats and dogs from coming in or going out of the house). As the same time, because of the reflective properties of the plastic (perspex) sheet, it acts like a mirror. This is provided that one's common habit is close one's main entrance door and grille gate often.

3. In many condos, it is a requirement that all doors leading to these "fire staircases" are closed. If your building has such doors, and if the door is closed; then you need not do anything about it. "If it no longer seen it is no longer a problem".

4. Another option is the placement of a plant to "block" the partial view of the staircase. (This option often may not be possible as it may be blocking the way etc).

5. The other more noticeable option is to hang a convex ba gua mirror above one's main door.
