Dear Juliet,
1. First of all, welcome to the forum.
2. Most of us sincerely believe, and I personally do, that all one can ask is an honest living.
3. In my opinion, door to door sales is quite tough. But again, selling cutlery is truely an honest living and should be seen in that context.
4. There is really no issue nor inauspicous with regards to this.
So far, the only auspicious beliefs are in relation to gifts:-
It is a no no to give a loved one either shoes or a clock.
5. In Feng Shui, the only other issue is more of a common sense, in to living any sharp knifes around. This is especially not safe for younger children.
Wishing you all the best in whatever you do:)
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
