Hi Cassandra

Before going any further, I must ask, have you done a Pillars of Destiny Chart (there is a free one on this site) to find out your element ? If not may I suggest you do as if the colors chosen are not complimentary to your element you could have all sorts of problems.
IMHO orange seems very strong for a bedroom. Too yang. Needs to be more yin otherwise sleep may be restless.
Under the Eight House Directions is your bedroom in one of your auspicious sectors ?
