Dear Anon,
Pigs signify "abundance". Hopefully not abundance of fat on the body making one rounder:)
Last week, I wanted to take a picture of two pigs (each pig on either side of a pillar) of a house. Each of the pig figurine on top of the pillar were carrying an umbrella, they were in a comfortable position lying and `posing' for a short. But as I was in a hurry, could not take a shot of it.
Anyway, place it at a place you find `suitable' i.e. in the living room. Pigs are `lazy' animals and not guard dogs so they do not need to face a door, the sliding glass windows etc...
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
