Dear Anon,
1. I agree with you on your definition of more than one water position below.
2. What I find highly unusual is not so much of what you mentioned below, but I literally understood or thought that the earlier posting to mean that there are two water positions outside the main door i.e. on each side. This is what I felt.
3. The context of water positions so close-by side-by-side is in my opinion highly unusual.
