Hello there!
My partners and I have planned to take over a restaurant business by =August 1 but I've been advised by some Chinese friends to open either =before August 1 or after August 30. They say it's a "dead month" or a ="dead period" in the Chinese calendar.
They also added that it is good luck to open on the 28th of July which =is of course before the 1st of August but they also said not to do =anything within the month of August. Believing in Feng shui, my =partners and I agreed tol sign the take-over contract on the 27th and =will formally open on the 28th and start the change management =procedures on September 1st.
Is it the right move? What's the "feng-shui logic" behind all this?
Regards
John
