Dear Han,
1. No it is my opinion, that the two round columns are part of the structure of the building and I feel that it is not `symbolic' of the two objects that can form a triangulation.
2. You would need e.g. two pots of plants on each side (as an example) to use the `triangular effect'.
Well, this is based on my personal experience and it may vary with other practitioners on this.
