Dear Yang Ming,
Usually most house plans have both the individual layout plans and more importantly the site/plot plans.
Most of the site/plot plans will have the North-South orientation.
Here, we can use a protractor to measure the inclination of the house i.e. North/South -- East/West and then superimpose this grid to the layout plan.
Here, one can orientate the individual layout plan to this larger site/plot plan.
We can then have a `rough' or if done correctly a good `estimate' of the compass direction e.g. the main entrance door.
